I just wanted to share this with you a wonderful discovery :')- at one point i was questioning the absence of Jang Geun Suk after his awesome drama in Love Rain until in We Got Married: Global Edition, Hong Ki called him if he wanted to join the wedding ceremony--> at this point Geun Suk said that he was busy so I said to my self, "Self, maybe he's working on a new TV series"

Hello there! i've been pretty busy with school *i'm swimming in homework atm* but I suddenly felt the urge to write a new review on the new drama:
When was this Drama Released?- October 9-2013
Is this a Korean Drama?- Yes
How many episodes are out right now?- there
are currently 8episodes so far and 20 Eps in total
What genre is it?- theres obviously highschool romance
and some comedic reliefs here and there
Any well known actors?- oh yeah ! they're
everywhere in this one!
Is this a drama that will make you cry a river?- nope, at
least for me- there's nothing really intense (i.e and illness
or something along those lines) that happens
Can I just mention how AWESOME this drama in?! LOL
Characters
Lee Min Ho as "Kim Tan"
The youngest son of a big company (Jin Hyuk)
I guess you could consider his role as the typical highschool rich kid (dare i say "mentality"?)
rejected by his older step brother ( Kim Won), and just a cold hearted troll lol
first seen in the pilot episode, studying abroad in America (specifically Cali.)
btw, Lee min ho, is in City Hunter, Boys Over Flowers, and a historical drama lol
Park Shin Hye as "Cha Eun-Sang"
The daughter of a housemaid who works in Kim Tan's household
Eun Sang in a way represents the extreme side of Kim Tan's lifestyle as she isn;t able to spend so much on lavish luxuriouss thingss~
Eun Sang works hard to help with their household expenses
also has an older sister that to their knowledge is studying abroad in Cali.
you'd be crazy to not know Park Shin hye (if you don't, she's in You're Beautiful, Flower Boy Next Door)
Kim Woo Bin as "Choi Young Do"
LOL can i just say? this guy came off as the biggest dick at first in the drama- and you'd think that "oh well i'm sure things will turn around for him as the drama progresses" ..... i don't know LOL
He and Kim Tan used to the be best of friends when they were younger but whenever they see each other it's all just filled with an intense atmosphere and rivalry
I feel as though on the inside he's just a lonely soul that just needs some consoling LOL
his eyebrows though.. in the drama.... >_>
Kim Min Hyuk as "Yoon Chan Young"
I think you'd be able to recognize this baby face as the drummer of CN Blue, and also that hungry dude from Heartstrings (also with Park shin Hye)
Min Hyuk Plays the role of the best friend of Eun Sang and the boyfriend of Lee Bo Na
Chan Young is often helping out Eun Sang whenever she's in trouble- a kind of person that Eun Sang is able to rely on when in a bind
SYNOPSIS
The pilot episode depicts the life of Cha Eun Sang- working multiple part time jobs preparing for highschool and as well earning the money she makes to help her mother. They later receive a phone call from Eun Sang's older sister to send her money in America for school- however when Eun Sang actually flies over to the US to visit her sister she discovers her sister not even going to school or focusing on her studies and instead dating men and working park time jobs. The sister, being the backstabbing troll she is takes Cha Eun Sang's money and runs away.
At this point, this is where Eun Sang and Kim Tan meet where he offers Eun Sang a place to stay for the night. Here in Cali is where the majority of the cast members are introduced and sort of gives you some insight of their roles. Things already begin to happen at this point so i can't necessarily tell you everything LOL. it's all a matter of watching now >:3
RESPONSE
well.. i have to say it's been a while since i've watch a drama where i've been waiting anxiously for the episode to come out LOL. this drama has very strong actors/actresses so you could sort of assume that y'know ;) this'll be a good one lol .
There is just one thing that i don't really like about this drama that may see like a turn off at the beginning- LOL the way they speak English LOL. What's most interesting are the native english speakers *sigh* if you are able to get past that then this drama is perfect
it does have that typical situation between the guy and girl where one of them would be on a different social status bar than the other, but somehow end up liking each other.
^for me personally- i don't think i can get tired of these dramas LOL so i'm good
** ALL IN ALL - i think that this drama is a good starter drama if your just beginning to watch Kdrama- it's something that'll get you hooked right away !!
